Real Housewives of New Jersey: A New Low

I’ve been debating whether to write this blog. Sunday’s episode shook me, again, to my core. My cousin and I had a LONG discussion about this show last night. We are both on Teresa’s side as it relates to this entire argument. It is never pretty to see FOUR GROWN women gang up on another woman for no truly recognizable reason. It doesn’t seem fair. I feel like I’m missing something, but there’s no way for me to ever find out. What did Teresa do that these women are CRUCIFYING her to the world?

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Listen Carefully

Last night’s episode of RHONJ was… crazy. I might have to stop watching this show because I get so annoyed and pissed watching it. I want to shake Melissa, Caroline, Jacqueline, and sometimes Kathy. Ok, let’s cut to the scene that everyone is discussing: the summer solstice party AKA Teresa vs. Melissa.

Celebrity Apprentice: Kowtow to the Win

By: LeNae’s Law

Let me recap Sunday’s CA episode: “I…I….I….Me….Me….Me….” Okay, enough about Aubrey. Yawn and moving on.

The challenge for the week was to write and perform a jingle for Good Sam. Each team was, theoretically, well positioned for this task. After all who better for this challenge than Clay Aiken and from what I understand, Aubrey is also a writer and singer. While neither talent donned the Project Manager cap, they both took the reigns and led their respective teams.

In the end, Arsenio’s team (Theresa and Aubrey) won the challenge over Dayana’s Team (Lisa and Clay). At first, I wasn’t sure if I was proud of or disappointed in Arsenio’s kowtowing to Aubrey in the name of team unity and the task at hand. But now, after I have had some time to contemplate, I have to say, kudos to you Arsenio for exploiting your human resources to your advantage. Well played.

Unfortunately, sweet Miss Universe did not fair as well. Bless her heart; she was so intent on finally gaining a modicum of respect from her team-mates that she failed to conceptualize the bigger picture, winning the task. Instead of conceding to her obvious lack of knowledge and/or skill-set, instead of taking that supportive role, as Clay mentioned, or instead of kowtowing like the Machiavellian Arsenio, innocent and naïve Dayana tried (and failed miserably in the process) to bluff her way through the task. Watching Dayana, in and out of the boardroom, week after week, begs the question, was she set up to fail? Other than style and grace (and an enviable master over calm during Lampanelli’s repeated verbal assaults) what experience, skills and/or talents did Dayana bring to the table? Does she have any experience in business management, sales, marketing, fund-raising, singing, writing, performing, anything? If so, unfortunately, it was never readily apparent. And if not, she might should have given the ole kowtow a try.

Basketball Wives Movie?

Our biggest nightmares have come true. We have given these women so much attention that now Fox Searchlight, Shaunie O’Neal, and Tracey Edmonds are bringing a Basketball Wives inspired movie to theaters.

The film is reportedly going to center around a woman who follows her NBA baller boyfriend to Miami only to get caught up in the fast-paced world of professional sports.  She’s befriended by other wives and girlfriends of her boyfriend’s teammates and learns about the trials and tribulations of women in her new sisterhood.

Will you be going to see this movie?

Is Melissa Gorga Begging People to Support Her Song??

On Sunday nights episode of RHONJ, Melissa Gorga, sister-in-law of Teresa Guidice, debuted her new song, “How Many Times,” written for her husband, Joe Gorga. Although I’m not a Melissa fan, I liked her song (after all the auto tuning and producer editing). I thought it was touching that she appreciated her husband buying everything she has .

Melissa tweeted that night that her song had already reached the top 8 on the iTunes charts. I thought that was interesting but a bit weird that that many people had already bought her song. But ok, she needs the support and the money.

However, tonight, one of her fans tweeted both her and her music producer stating that she had been placed in Twitter jail for tweeting too many people she didn’t know to support Melissa’s song. The interesting part of this tweet was her stating that she was only doing what she had been told to do and wanted further instructions on what to do next. Is this what reality television has come to?? You lie on and sell out your family for a spot on a television show to further a singing career that is destined to be lackluster at best and your advertisers include a new to Twitter “fan” account? What was the prize? WOW!

UPDATE: We learned today that the fan won an autograph from Melissa Gorga. She missed out on the top prize which was to meet Melissa Gorga. Maybe next time.

The tweets are below.

What are your thoughts??

WWHL Poll Results: Accept the Apology

On last night’s Watch What Happens Live (WWHL) episode, Andy Cohen posed the question to viewers of whether the Manzo’s, Laurita’s, Gorga’s, and Wakile’s should accept Teresa’s SECOND apology to them. Viewers voted and 60% agreed that these people need to accept the apology and move forward! What happened to building a bridge and getting over it???

Am I the only one who noticed Andy’s face after the results were announced? He looks confused. Maybe he’s thinking, “Uh oh we forgot to rig them!” or maybe he’s thinking, “That’s weird, we really tried to make her look bad, but the people aren’t buying it!” Whatever it was, it was very declasse of Andy. It was bad enough how he railroaded Teresa at the reunion (I think this is when America first realized the mob mentality of these people), but now he’s actually shocked that people like her.

Something else I don’t understand is Why won’t they accept Teresa’s apology? Because it is not given how they want? She has done it privately, publicly, individually, in a group, on Twitter, in the magazines, everywhere! Everywhere they have bashed her, she has apologized. What more can she do? I’m sure Don Caroline wants her to grovel on her knees, but I hope Teresa will never get to that point. You have apologized way too many times at this point, and have not received ONE apology back from these people for the things they (or their kids) have said about you, your husband, your marriage, your kids, your finances, your career, etc.

I hope that this poll can drive home the point not just with the Manzo’s, Laurita’s, Gorga’s and Wakiles, but with Bravo also. We are sick of the bullying and gang up on Teresa. She’s trying. She is not perfect, and has made mistakes, but she has owned up to it. When will they?

Who knows… but C’est La Vie…

UPDATE! Marco Sisters Fan Site Owner QUITS

A couple of days ago, Twitter experienced one of the most monumental meltdowns it has seen in a while. Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Marco Gorga and her sisters Lysa Marco Simpson and Kim Marco Pirella, twitter fan site (@MarcoSistersFan), threatened to shut down the twitter site due to her realizing “the truth” about the sisters. According to the site owner, the Marco sisters are “evil” and “vile” people who are out to hurt Real Housewives of New Jersey’s original star, Teresa Giudice, who happens to be the sister-in-law of Melissa Marco Gorga.

When this revelation came, Twitter followers were very curious as to why this fan turned on the sisters. Now we can reveal why!
